I did a swap recently with a snail mail friend and we decided on “color” as our theme. This is a first for me, though I will say that in a lot of cases I end up with a color theme in the end of most pocket letter without even really trying to do so.
My swap partner and I are both planner girls so we of course opted to fill the pockets with planner goodies. In case it isn’t obvious, orange is the color for this themed letter. I had the perfect paper that began as the inspiration for this letter. It was a floral paper from an Echo Park collection – Simple Life. This collection is actually designed by Deena Rutter and it is one of my favorites. I have used the papers and other elements from Simple Life to create several projects over the past few months. It’s very versatile and the colors are fantastical!
I wish I took more photos of the letter before sending it off, because I actually had a fun time digging through my stash looking for orange goodies to tuck into the letter. In the end I wrapped the letter with a gold shimery ribbon and tucked in a coordinating card.
This one has already been snail mailed and received by my swap partner.
